IAO International 2008 is the first on-line art fair. As such it is important to understand how an on-line art fair would logically follow. Below is a preliminary guide to give you a breif understanding of how this experience will take place for you and your clients...
1. Apply for Space ($500 - $3,300 US See Below)
2. Once accepted (September 2008) you will receive an email and packet with login/account information and a list of features that will be available for customization.
3. Log In and create your Digital Exhibition Space (DES) by uploading logos, images, videos, text, artist profiles, and choosing the look of your space.
4. Using Instant Messaging and eMail you will be able to interact directly and immediately with numerous clients from all over the world!
6. Viewers at the show will explore the various galleries using a Floorplan System (see below) that will allow them to get a small preview of each DES and provide them with a familiar way of exploring international art fairs.
7. Viewers will be able to explore an interview lounge where you can post a video of an interview with your artists (limited to one video per gallery).
8. Each viewer will have a profile which galleries and dealers can use to gain quick contact information about interested patrons and vice versa.
